Risk & Compliance Officer (Public Sector client account) Location: Manchester Reports to: Team Leader - Compliance Department: Privacy, Risk and Compliance Management Responsibility: None Travel: Occasional Contract Type: Permanent Risk & Compliance Officer: role overview The Risk & Compliance Officer will be aligned to a key client account and be responsible for risk and compliance monitoring of the account while working closely with relevant operational partners and internal stakeholders across both Teleperformance and client organisations. The principle responsibility of the Risk & Compliance Officer is to ensure that the delivery of service for Teleperformance, its client and their customers, is compliant with the clients aligned regulatory standards and meets contractual requirements. The Risk & Compliance Officer may have responsibility for one or a number of clients, depending on the size, scope and complexity of the programmes of work involved. The role holder will support delivery of the Risk Management Framework, engage in risk and control reviews, and management of issues and action plans. Key Responsibilities Works closely with Operational partners and stakeholders to ensure all compliance metrics are being met To be first point of contact for client /compliance queries and to liaise with the client to resolve regulatory issues Conduct monitoring reviews on all LOB to ensure compliance with agreed processes and standards are aligned to regulatory expectations Complete ad-hoc reviews as requested by the Risk & Regulatory Assurance Manager Prepare detailed reports on issues found and obtain agreement from management and stakeholders on action plans and timeframes to resolve Building knowledge of the client, processes and regulatory framework to contribute to and support ongoing contractual relationship with the client Supports the Client and Teleperformance Operations (including BCP) in dealing with unexpected events Attends weekly, monthly and quarterly client reviews to ensure all risk and compliance requirements are discussed and related issues are addressed Be an advocate for increasing compliance awareness and work with the Team Leader and Compliance Manager to continually increase awareness across the account Support the wider Risk & Regulatory Assurance Team as required within level of own competency. Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Team Leader and/or Compliance Manager Knowledge and qualifications At least 3 years’ experience in a Compliance and/or Risk role Experience of ensuring contractual or regulatory compliance Compliance or Risk qualifications e.g. ICA or IRM (desirable) Behaviours Comfortable working in a fast paced and innovative environment both with a degree of collaboration and autonomy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good time management Excellent presentation skills Confident communicator with an ability to influence at all levels
