Join our team as an Assistant Management Accountant.
We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to assist our Finance Business Partner (Asset Management) and support budget holders to deliver an efficient, cost-effective service that helps achieve strategic and business objectives.

About the Role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will take on a varied and engaging role, providing essential accounting support to the Finance Business Partner.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Budget forecasting, Journal posting, transaction matching, and managing purchase-to-pay transactions.
2. Assisting in the production of accurate accounting information for management and statutory accounts, including variance notes for the Group and Platform Property Care.
3. Working collaboratively across the wider Property Finance team and other departments to support the business's continued growth and success.
Some of the things we are looking for:
1. At least one year's experience in accounting in a large and complex organisation with substantial budgets.
2. Experience of providing accounting information to challenging deadlines.
3. Experience of interpreting information, carrying out research, analysing complex data, appraising performance, and managing risk.
4. Experience of using digital technology within a finance environment.
5. AAT level 3 (or equivalent).
6. Well-developed understanding of delivering an excellent customer-based service in a complex organisation with both social and commercial activities.
7. Ability to establish strong, sustained working relationships based on respect and effective negotiation and influencing skills.
While this role is home-based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required (approximately twice a month). Our Group offices are based in Central Park, Worcester and Birmingham Business Park, Solihull.
