My client is seeking a motivated individual who is eager to develop their payroll skills within a supportive, close-knit team. Working alongside the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in managing three weekly payrolls and one monthly payroll. This role offers excellent growth potential, with the opportunity to progress to Payroll Officer over time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process holiday requests and manage sickness absence records.
* Prepare monthly reports, including employee movements, new starters, and leavers.
* Enter new starters and process leavers in the payroll system.
* Input timesheets for both weekly and monthly payrolls.
* Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Support the annual salary review process.
* Process sickness-related and statutory payments.
* Perform wage reconciliations for weekly and monthly payrolls for the Accounts department.
* Manage commissions, bonuses, overtime, and expenses for all payroll cycles.
* Maintain and organise payroll documentation and reports.
* Keep Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) up to date.
* Distribute payslips efficiently and accurately.
* Provide administrative support to the Fleet Manager as needed.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years’ payroll experience.
* Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices.
* High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
Desirable (Not Essential):
* Experience using iTrent payroll software.
