The successful candidate will help us to provide Administrative support to the North & West Core Teams, assisting them in achieving their objectives and to liaise with all relevant and appropriate services. In your role you will ensure that all patients are organised effectively and efficiently so that patients are seen without clinical risk and within NHS guidelines and targets. You will need to show excellent organisational and communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team to support the service to deliver high quality and timely patient care.
A good knowledge of IT skills including Outlook and Big Hand / Audio Typing are essential, including knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities:
1. Word processing of all forms of correspondence, reports and summaries that are required by the team.
2. Undertake diary management for FTB clinicians and/or managers, as required.
3. Organise clinics and associated appointments for clinics, using appropriate brought-forward systems to manage work.
4. Organise team/staff meetings, take, transcribe and distribute minutes accordingly as required.
5. Provide operational support to colleagues, and supervision of band 2 administration staff within the team, if required, as directed by Line Manager.
6. Deal with staff and patient requests that may be part of office function as and when required, and in accordance with Trust procedures.
7. Inputting and updating patient information and activity on computerised information systems.
8. Undertake training of new staff as directed by Line Manager and/or other managers.
9. Provide cover as directed by Line Manager for other members of the team in their absence and assist with their workloads as necessary and undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with the grade of the post.
