To provide clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff, to ensure effective running of the unit in the absence of Nurse Team Manager To be responsible for the delivery of high quality occupational health nursing care, providing specialist advice and clinical services to the managers and staff of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. To promote health and safeguard from risks arising from work and the working environment. To support the development and maintenance of the nurse led Occupational Health service. To assist in the development and implementation of Occupational Health procedures and policies. To promote evidence-based practice for client care and act as a role model. To provide the day to day delivery of the occupational health service including case management. To work closely with and support the team to establish good working relationships with staff at regional and national level. To work in conjunction with other disciplines in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of service provision to ensure the client pathway through the occupational health service is effective and timely.
