The Role:
1. To achieve annual sales targets as determined by the company.
2. To agree business annually and increase market share within allocated geographic areas, industries or accounts in: AL, CB, CO, CM, E, EC, EN, HA, IP, IG, LN, LU, MK, N, NR, NW, PE, RM, SG, SS, WC, WD.
3. Prospecting / Developing new customers and maintaining existing accounts.
4. To develop and expand on a long-term basis certain nominated and parent company established Global accounts within the area of responsibility.
5. Follow-up leads generated by marketing activities.
6. Implementation of the sales and marketing plans.
7. Assist in the reporting and forecasting functions on a monthly basis.
8. Assist in the reporting, controlling, forecasting, and managing of the allocated industries and accounts within the areas of responsibility.
9. Provide an Industry and product reporting package as determined by the company.
Requirements:
1. Articulate.
2. Good general health.
3. Presentable.
4. Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
5. ONC Electrical/Instrumentation.
6. Proven computer skills.
7. Field Sales Background.
8. Understanding of basic instrumentation.
9. PC literate with Microsoft packages, Outlook e-mails with attachments.
10. Good written & verbal communication.
11. Organisation skills.
12. Ability to communicate at all levels.
13. Excellent telephone manner.
14. Good presentation & work accuracy.
15. Able to meet deadlines.
16. Time management skills in order to work to tight deadlines.
17. Able to work with discretion, sensitivity and maintain confidentiality.
18. Self motivated, Flexible, Team worker.
19. Ability to work unsupervised.
20. Assertive, Enthusiastic, Confident, Adaptable.
21. Home based, willing to work beyond contracted hours.
22. Home based business administration using allocated PC tools.
23. Able to travel extensively in the UK but occasionally abroad.
24. Willing to spend short periods away from home.
25. Willing to travel internationally when required.
