The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction through phone, email, and ticketing system interactions. What You’ll Be Doing: As a vital part of the Customer Support team, the role will involve: Responding efficiently, effectively, and consistently to customer enquiries across multiple communication channels (phone, email, ticketing system, and other evolving methods). Meeting and aiming to exceed performance targets agreed by the business. Providing a professional, friendly, and reassuring experience for every customer interaction, treating each customer with respect and empathy. Focusing on first-contact resolution, addressing queries effectively while managing expectations and ensuring follow-up actions are fulfilled. Actively listening and asking relevant, open questions to fully understand each customer’s enquiry. Staying up to date with business processes and adhering to procedures to deliver customer excellence consistently. Logging and responding to support requests accurately in line with the Quality Framework. Calculating and requesting service credits where applicable, ensuring clear communication on value and timelines. Managing accounts effectively, including applying customer-payable charges where appropriate. GCSE level (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths.(Essential) A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Customer Support role. A demonstrable background in Technology or a strong interest in tech-related fields. A positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to work in a telephone-based environment. Flexibility to work on a 4 out of 7-day rota basis, including Bank Holidays.
