The base will be between 2 sites - St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead and Foundation House, Windsor - 18.75 hours per week.
If you are looking for a new opportunity and thrive on a new challenge, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient department.
This role gives you the opportunity to take a key part in developing and shaping how we effectively run the department.
The role is responsible for supervising the Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead administration team. This post is suitable for someone who can coordinate work effectively and provide support, motivation, and guidance to other team members.
In this role, you will need to have good customer service skills and the ability to multitask. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise and organise a varied workload. If you thrive on variety, this is a role you should consider as you will have to travel to other sites when the need arises, which includes Maidenhead/Windsor, Slough and Bracknell area. You will receive a generous mileage allowance to facilitate this element of the role.

Main duties of the job
1. Line management of the WAM administration team including rota management and recruitment.
2. Responsible for overseeing prompt completion of administration functions such as appointment bookings, clinic letter management, emails, telephone calls and queries from the physiotherapist team.
3. Ensure targets and service level agreements are met to support the clinical provision.
4. To be responsible for the efficient running of the administration service for the physiotherapy department.
5. Take responsibility for digital referral management and new patient bookings.
6. Liase with necessary services to support and assist patients as needed, e.g., Interpreting Service.
7. Be the first point of contact for welcoming patients and visitors attending the physiotherapy outpatient department.
8. Collect data and statistics to aid management in guiding the service direction.
9. Work flexibly in response to the needs of the patients, service, and physiotherapists.

* Previous experience of managing an administration team.
* Good keyboard skills and the ability to use IT packages such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Ability to organise and prioritise and experience of working in an office/customer care.

Education/Qualifications/Training
* ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)/computer software qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages.

* Knowledge of administration and/or office procedures and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Previous Experience
* Supervising the work of others.
