Following a successful recent hire, our client is looking for another Mechanical Engineering Technician to support their expanding operations.\n\nWith a full order book for the next three years and multi-million-pound site investments, this is the perfect time to be part of a company committed to growth, innovation, and reliability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEnsure high levels of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) compliance for all maintenance activities.\nSupport unplanned stoppage recovery and assist with first-line fault-finding and problem-solving.\nCollaborate with departments to enhance plant reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through FMEA/RCM studies and preventive maintenance strategies.\nAssist the MRO Stores Controller in optimising inventory for plant reliability and performance.\nSupervise contractors for maintenance and capital project activities during plant outages.\nMaintain detailed equipment records using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\n\nKey Requirements\n\nApprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.\nHands-on experience with pumps, compressors, pipelines, boilers, vessels, and heat exchangers.\nKnowledge of maintenance and reliability tools (FMEA, RCM, condition monitoring, CMMS).\nExperience with alignment techniques, ultrasonics, vibration analysis, and thermography.\nUnderstanding of pressure systems, confined space entry, risk assessments, and hot work permits.\nStrong reporting skills with the ability to assess, improve, and implement maintenance workflows.\n\nWhy Join?\n\nBe part of a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a company making significant site investments.\nWork with an experienced team that values innovation and problem-solving.\nContribute to major projects in a highly regulated industry.\nIf you're a mechanically skilled engineer who thrives in an evolving industrial environment, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nApply now with your CV
