The Role
We are seeking to recruit casual employees to our Waste and Recycling Team. We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individuals to assist in the delivery of waste collection, within a very high-profile service.
The work can be varied and interesting, and it is essential that you can appreciate the important contribution these services have in improving our local environment and the image of the area. You must possess good communication skills and be a quick learner, undertaking tasks with a minimum of supervision. You will be required to work both as part of a team and on your own. You will work in adverse weather conditions, and you will handle waste and recycling.

A willingness to train and use the bin lifting mechanisms of a variety of vehicles to load a variety of receptacles is essential.
These posts are casual. The hours of work for these positions are to be arranged, but successful candidates will be expected to make themselves available at least three days per week, Monday to Friday, from 0700 to 1645. These posts are based at White Lund Depot.
Due to the teamwork required in this role and the front-line services delivered, you must be punctual and reliable on your agreed days of work.
