Job Description:
As a Part-Time Teaching Assistant, you will have a pivotal role in supporting our teachers and enabling our students to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and lesson delivery.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students needing additional help.
- Supervising students during break times and ensuring their safety.
- Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A passion for education and a genuine interest in working with young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of child development and learning strategies.
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- First Aid certification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
