Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Director/Associate Director Town Planner to join their vibrant teams in Manchester, Leeds, and Sheffield. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a well-established town planning team.
Key Responsibilities:
Grow an existing team of Town Planners
Deliver high-quality Town Planning services directly to clients
Manage commercial aspects of commissions and/or projects, including governance, fee management activities, and internal job costings and resource requirements
Lead multidisciplinary bid submissions for major infrastructure and development projects
Play a key role in generating repeat business and identifying new business and market opportunities in the North
Manage client relationships and service delivery in conjunction with colleagues
Set the pace and monitor all work executed to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and quality service delivery to clients
Collaborate with the national Planning team and other teams across the UK to provide services and develop new work
Manage colleagues in the North, including performance and development oversight
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in Town Planning
Proven ability to lead, grow and develop a team of planners
Significant experience in managing commercial aspects of projects and commissions
Expertise in delivering high-quality planning services to clients
Strong track record in generating new business opportunities
Excellent client relationship management and service delivery skills
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Strong leadership and organisational abilities
