This role is located in the United Kingdom at our business unit, Chemtech Environmental, within the Cawood Scientific Environment Division. Learn more about Chemtech Environmental by clicking here Job Description: Responsibilities of a Customer Care Administrator: First point of contact for visitors to Chemtech and inbound telephone calls Dealing promptly and efficiently with customers via email or telephone, ensuring customer records are kept up to date Managing logistics of customer collections and delivery of sample media Circulating queries to relevant departments and following-up to ensure the customer has a satisfactory response Troubleshoot and investigate customer queries / complaints to conclusion Liaise with the customer and Sample Reception to organise priority jobs Log and create Non-conforming Work Records in conjunction with the Compliance team Help onboard new customers by prompting them to complete forms to ensure procedures are followed Work closely with the Customer Relationship Co-ordinators to help deliver excellent customer service Liaise with internal departments regarding quick turnaround work to assess feasibility and ensure correct premiums are applied Work with the Reporting team to proactively manage customers and advise customers of any internal issues that may cause delays Assist the sales team and other departments with administrative duties at busy periods Requirements of a Customer Care Administrator: Able to identify needs and requirements to meet customer needs Ability to work independently using good judgement, and as a team player Exceptional organisational skills with a high consideration to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and customer service skills Confident and proactive telephone manner Resourceful, self-motivated with a strong work ethic Adept at time management and able to work with deadlines You’ll be educated to GCSE level (with passes in Maths and English) and competent in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience working in a customer-focused environment is advantageous.
