Build Maintain Recruit are actively seeking a civils biased site manager, ideally with excavation / underground services experience. This is a permanent position site based at a prestigious manufacturing facility in north Bristol. Are you an experienced Civils Site Manager with a passion for managing complex excavation projects? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading construction company in Bristol. We are supporting a team embedded within a prestigious facility overseeing a number of schemes on site. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site operations for civils and excavation projects. Ensure work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders. Implement health & safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment. Conduct site inspections and report progress to senior management. Manage workforce planning and materials to meet project timelines. Requirements: Proven experience as a Civils Site Manager, with a strong background in excavation. Familiarity with groundworks, drainage, and heavy civils. Ideally, you will have CAT Training or HSG 47 Solid understanding of health & safety standards and construction legislation. Strong leadership and communication skills. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent certification. First Aid and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card preferred.
