They are known for internal progression and a friendly working environment and are now seeking to add a Buying Admin Assistant to join the buying team.
Description
1. Provide administrative support to the Buying Team across all categories.
2. Assist with Monday Trade meeting preparation, using our systems to run reports and reviewing weekly sales analysis, best sellers, and upcoming deliveries.
3. Prepare and update presentations and comp shops for weekly/monthly meetings and maintain ongoing development sheets for the department.
4. Manage critical paths.
5. Handle sample management and tracking.
6. Oversee photoshoot sample management.
7. Maintain the shipment tracker with accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Support the Buyer and Merchandiser in seasonal review and selection of the new season product range, considering sales performance, price architecture, intake margin, identifying key styles, and seasonality.
9. Provide presentations to the wider business of the upcoming collection and highlight key products.
10. Raise orders and set up SKUs, providing the relevant information for orders to be raised and monitoring the accuracy of all orders to ensure the correct stock flow into the business.
11. Collaborate daily with key functions: Ecom, Ops, Customer Services, and Marketing.
12. Carry out competitive reviews to develop and maintain knowledge of the current marketplace and identify opportunities for the brand.
13. Participate in store visits alongside the Buyer and provide detailed feedback.
14. Complete additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
Profile
1. Team player - ability to manage working relationships at all levels.
2. Understanding of the clothing industry & trading environments; broad knowledge of either retail or wholesale environments.
3. Creative flair - ability to balance creative product selection with a commercial eye.
4. Ideally, to have a buying, fashion, or textiles degree.
