As a Vet you will be accountable for patient care within the clinic, whilst ensuring we deliver exceptional care, always there for our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance. Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000 per year The Opportunity: Medivet Buxton is located in the stunning spa town of the famous Buxton thermal waters and situated in the western part of the Peak District. The town makes a wonderful place to live, visit and work, with plenty of recreational opportunities from the numerous spas to performing arts festivals such as the Buxton Fringe festival (the warmup to the Edinburgh Fringe), music, markets and more. Beyond the town itself you'll find yourself living in open countryside with close travel links to Manchester. Buxton practice has a friendly client base who appreciates the personal service we provide. The practice has 1 other Vet and Nurse along with a support team that are dedicated to our client and patient needs. We are lucky enough to have within the Derbyshire region our Buxton and New Mills practices that work closely together in partnership and although this position is primarily at our Buxton practice there will be 1 - 2 days per week at our New Mills practice approximately 25-minute commute. There will be some sole charge involved in this position so it would help if you were confident working on your own, although support is always just a phone call away and there will also be opportunities to work with our larger New Mills team to work up cases to a high standard. We are offering this on a part time basis working a 4 days per week 9:00 – 17:00 and no weekends, although we will ask on occasion to cover when needed. This is the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career by joining the growing Medivet community.
