Workshop Controller We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller to join Highland Audi. The successful candidate will manage the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets. Ensuring customer requirements are fully understood, and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the department. Key Responsibilities Management responsibilities for Workshop employees including: Handling any Technician workplace issues Communicating job expectations Providing regular feedback of team’s performance Establishing training requirements and costs to provide satisfactory levels of skill and job satisfaction Plan the fair distribution of work amongst the team utilising available skills mix Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met Ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of Brand service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators. Maintain a clean, well-decorated and tidy workshop to achieve the highest standards of workshop presentation To calculate and manage the effective use of workshop resources for the Brand Endeavour to enhance facilities, improve technical skills and achieve high standards of workmanship Help Hawco achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control Key Attributes and Skills: A high level of technical knowledge and experience. A proven track record in achieving and exceeding monthly sales objectives. A working knowledge of warranty systems and the Brand is advantageous. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to work calmly under pressure. Friendly and professional with enthusiasm for great customer service.
