Your tasks
* Plan and organise production capacity (personnel and equipment) in order to meet customer programmed requirements
* Monitor and control production key performance indicators, cost, process, quality, delivery, housekeeping, absence etc in accordance with company requirements
* Manage the annual budget, with a view of exceeding the annual goal
* Contribute to and support the introduction of new products, facilities, machinery and process to the area
* Support and drive continuous improvement activities in order to optimise equipment and processes
* As part of the manufacturing team, work with other functional areas of the plant to ensure supply to the customer of quality products, on time, in full, achieving performance to plan.
* Recruit, train and develop the production operatives against planned headcount, supporting the induction / training process.
* Develop and motivate the team members, whilst leading and supporting any HR matters
* Ensure that production and company information is communicated effectively to the team
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the company including Health and Safety, Environmental and be pro-active in the development of a safe working environment
* Conduct (SWC) standard work confirmation
* Deputise for other Team Leaders and their production areas as required
* Comply with all company policies, procedures and guidelines including code of conduct, FIRST, IDEAS, health and safety, environment, quality, discipline, grievance and equal opportunities
Your Profile
* Used to working in a high-volume automotive environment and work well under pressure
* 3 years experience in managerial/supervisory role
* Demonstrate role model behaviour as a leader
* Fully understand Brose Basic rules
* Good awareness of Health & Safety
* Good levels of literacy and numeracy skills are essential
* Excellent communication skills
