Role Description
The Opportunity:
Princes Bradford is our largest drinks manufacturing site in the UK producing 26 million cases of Dilute and Carbonated drinks per year for own label retail sale and for well-known brands. We are now excited to confirm that we have established a partnership with Capri-Sun which will bring the production of the iconic and much loved brand, Capri-Sun, home to our Bradford site.
Initial production on 2 lines commences in October 2024 and on full completion in March 2025 there will be 4 production lines, each capable of 8,000 pouches per hour operating 365 days per year from our bespoke unit.
Due to this exciting expansion, we are now looking for multiple Multi Skilled Engineers who are passionate about manufacturing and committed to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, to join us on this exciting journey.

Job Purpose:
Reporting to a Shift Operations Manager for daily priorities, Asset Care Manager for overall management and forming part of a multi skilled shift maintenance team, the post holder will be required to maintain equipment and repair faults as directed.
Dimensions:
1. The role involves continental shift working to support a 24/7 drinks production operation.
2. Frontline operational technical support to ensure optimal manufacturing reliability.
3. Supporting site and group projects on initiatives.
Site equipment includes:
1. 4 Capri Sun Pouch filling production lines
2. 2 Robotic palletisers
3. Check Weighers
4. Tetrapac Mix systems
Principle Accountabilities:
1. Undertake the role in accordance with health, safety, environmental, food hygiene and quality requirements.
2. Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and the associated costs.
3. Carry out fault finding on a diverse range of automated equipment.
4. Carry out identified modifications and improvements.
5. Implement and support planned preventative maintenance schemes.
6. Complete maintenance schedules and engage in operational improvements.
7. Actively support continuous improvement projects and activities by challenging existing practices and making recommendations for improvements.
8. Communicate with the relevant departments on breakdown and maintenance progress.
9. Complete all relevant reports and accurately maintain in engineering CMMS records.
10. Monitor the efficiency of equipment and identify problem areas to proactively implement improvements.
11. Ensure the engineering spares store records are updated when parts and materials are used.
12. Manage Capri Sun engineering stores stocks by working with the site engineering stores team.
13. Maintain all work areas to the required 5S standards.
14. Ensure that you record and communicate any adjustments to production equipment.
15. Be fully competent in a wide range of machine and equipment operating and cleaning procedures.
16. Review daily achievement of targets and report variances.
17. Resolve all operational problems on the lines. Carry out fault diagnosis and first line repairs where task competent to do so including lubrication, breakdown repair, changeover and running adjustments.
18. Carry out effective handovers by communicating key information to other colleagues.
19. Carry out new or additional tasks, projects, trials, and other reasonable duties in conjunction with colleagues in your area of work.
20. Working with production operations to run and optimise the lines performance.
Role Requirements
Successful candidate must have:
1. Relevant Engineering experience in FMCG
2. Ability to work alone and part of a team
3. Excellent communication skills with colleagues of all levels
4. Experience in using CMMS e.g. SAP
5. Relevant Engineering qualifications
6. To maintain product Food Safety, Legality, Integrity, Authenticity and Quality standards by ensuring all associated policies and procedures are adhered to
