Electrician
Main Locations: Eastbourne & Lewes (Field Based Position)
Salary: £38,000
Full Time, Permanent – 42.5hrs per week (Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm)
This contract provides a 24-hour emergency repair service. This post offers the opportunity to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, which can potentially boost earnings by approximately £10k per annum, based on one week out of a four-week rota. Participation is optional and not mandatory.

About the role:
As an Electrician you will carry out repair work, working on responsive repairs, in domestic environments. Working in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure commercial requirements for the number of visits, quality and workmanship, service user satisfaction and costs are met.
Role Criteria:
6. Experience with installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations
7. Have the knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report
8. Flexibility to cover the out of hours rota where required: 1 weekend in 4, and 1 day a week depending on the business needs to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs
9. To ensure that all electrical work is carried in accordance with The Electricity @ Work Regulations 1989 and in line with the requirements of BS 7671 (as amended) and Mears Electrical Procedures and Policies
Essential qualifications:
10. NVQ Level 3 Including AM2
11. Test & Inspection – City & Guilds 2391 Qualification
12. 18th Addition (BS 7671:2018) – City & Guilds 2382
