Who would be ideal for this role?
We're open to a variety of backgrounds! Suitable candidates include:
- Graduates in core subjects like English, Maths, or Science - no experience necessary, although experience working with children is desirable
- Private tutors with experience in one-to-one or small group teaching.
- Former teaching staff or those returning to education work.
- Support staff such as teaching assistants or learning mentors.
- Youth workers with a passion for education.
- Individuals with experience in coaching or mentoring young people.
The role:
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions for pupils preparing for their Year 6 SATs.
- Provide additional support in core subjects to help students excel.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure tailored and effective learning plans.
- Mark and assess pupil's work
