Key Responsibilities As a Senior Clinical Audiologist Paediatric, you will be responsible for: Clinical Management: Independently manage a diverse caseload of complex paediatric patients, performing advanced diagnostic tests (such as ABR, VNG, and behavioural assessments). Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of care. Professional Leadership: Provide expert clinical advice to other team members and healthcare professionals. Support and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment. Service Development: Lead service improvements and initiatives in line with best practices and evidence-based guidelines. Work closely with Audiology Managers to understand and respond to service needs. Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including ENT specialists, speech and language therapists, and educational professionals. Clinical Governance: Contribute to the Trusts clinical governance framework by participating in audits, maintaining high clinical standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Who Were Looking For We seek a motivated and compassionate Audiologist with: A relevant degree in Audiology and registration with a professional body (e.g., HCPC). Extensive experience in paediatric audiology, including complex cases and rehabilitation. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with advancements in the field.
