An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the West London NHS Trust NHS Talking Therapies Teams. We are looking for a Fixed Term Assistant Administrator who will support delivery of a modern, effective, patient-focused administrative service within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Hounslow Talking Therapies are proud to serve diverse communities. The services are expanding and has an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic and organised individuals for the post of Fixed Term Assistant Administrator, providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to our psychological therapies team and service.
Hounslow Talking Therapies are looking for a fixed term Band 3 Assistant Administrator for a period of 12 months, for 20 hours per week. The role will be based at the main office in Isleworth.
Individuals will be supported by a friendly and experienced management team. With approximately 65% of the workforce from BAME backgrounds, the service prides itself on being both diverse and inclusive. We are seeking to recruit individuals who welcome an exciting challenge and want to make a significant contribution to the community.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will have good organisational skills, be able to work effectively within the team and have a polite and sensitive approach to people with mental health problems. The post holders would work from the service’s main base at the Isleworth Centre. The ability to speak Urdu, Punjabi or Hindi would be helpful but not essential.
Previous administrative experience, previous use of large client databases, computer literacy, good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times are essential.
The role is varied and duties include:
1. Creating, developing and maintaining client record systems
2. Co-ordinating the booking of client assessment and treatment appointments
3. Occasionally dealing with telephone calls and visitors
