Manage the delivery of a Portfolio of Capability Contracts including Upgrade Programme and various supplementary contracts
Liaise with the customer (Eurofighter/Netma) and internal CAMs - Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering and Commercial, supporting external meetings with key suppliers
Ensure quality and timely internal reporting of financial and delivery data. Providing clear updates and performance statistics
Support the Typhoon Capability Upgrade Manager in delivering new bids through to RBA (Request for Bid Approval)
Appropriately apply Life Cycle Management (LCM) - RBAs, TBRs (technical bid review) phases through to closure, ensuring appropriate tailoring
Be a Key Customer and European Partner Company (EPC) PoC within the European Typhoon business environment
Ensure all relevant report systems (COMPASS, PREDICT) are kept topical
Experienced in Project Management and the ability to problem solve complex tasks
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt style/approach to suit various levels across both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to deliver timely and accurate data with a keen eye on detail. The ability to work across organisational boundaries and employ different tools to drive performance
Ability to operate in a manner that drives effective teamwork, collaboration and engagement across customer, partners, external suppliers/teams, and internal suppliers/teams
Understanding and experience of the Financial, Commercial and Procurement processes and practices
Reporting to, and supported by, the Typhoon Capability Upgrade Manager Capability Portfolio, the role will also provide opportunities to develop your presentational and communications skills within the BAE Systems internal environment and externally.
