Reeson Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Irlam (M41). This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils across EYFS and KS1, including those who are behind academically and those with special educational needs such as non-verbal communication, sensory needs, ASD, social and emotional challenges, suspected ADHD, and mild learning difficulties .

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils in EYFS and KS1 who require additional help with learning, communication, and emotional development.
* Assist children with SEN needs, including non-verbal pupils, sensory difficulties, ASD, social and emotional needs, and suspected ADHD .
* Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and help pupils stay engaged in lessons.
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support plans.
* Encourage positive social interactions and help pupils develop confidence and independence.
* Provide a calm, structured, and nurturing presence in the classroom.
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
* Previous UK experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs.
* A passion for helping children with SEN and early learning development .
* Ability to build strong relationships with pupils who require extra encouragement.
* A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
* Commitment to a full-time, long-term role.
