6 Month + Contract Position - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm
Our client helps their customers meet new, demanding and often complex production challenges within the UK food and beverage industry by redesigning and improving their industrial processes. Specifically supporting customers with the design, manufacture and installation of large process vessels, machinery and process pipework. Drawing on a depth of experience and technical knowledge, they have a hard-earned reputation for delivering high-quality process plant and equipment installations safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for an experienced pipe fitter welder to join the company supporting a range of projects across the Midlands.
Duties
As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter welder you will be working within a very well equipped and maintained workshop in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 9DW. Typical duties will include fabricating and butt welding back purged, schedule 10, 2' to 8' OD thin wall stainless steel pipework. Other duties will include fabricating brackets and associated supports along with assisting other pipe fitter welders as necessary.
About You
Based ideally in Derbyshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of DE11 9DW.
Demonstrable experience of fitting and TIG welding thin wall process pipework within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment.
You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's to back this up.
