An experienced Restaurant General Manager is needed to join our team at Thai Express based in Scotland on a full-time basis.
You should have solid experience in hospitality as a General Manager with a leading brand or possibly be an exceptional AGM who wants to step up to the table!

About the Role
You are all about the guest experience, from the first greeting to the last goodbye. Customer Service is everything.

You will want this role to be the beginning of your career with us as we plan expansion across Scotland, with the opportunity to progress to be an area manager on our journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Experienced in managing and hiring a strong FOH and BOH team, coaching and motivating them
Prepared to get stuck in, understand how their food is cooked, tastes, and the kitchen operates
Be organised and always think ahead
Train and develop the team to the highest standards within a 100-cover restaurant whilst still maintaining high levels of Health and Safety
Be responsible for GPs/Stock management/Equipment issues and maintenance
A great communicator who always speaks their mind but listens and learns
You will deal with head office and take part in all weekly management calls, as well as any annual meetings, etc
Above all, you need to be hard-working, honest and run the restaurant like it's your
own business (go that extra mile!)
Be on top of all your Google reviews, reply and re-invite where necessary
Required Experience:
Have a good understanding of UK HR law when managing the staff
Have a Scottish alcohol licence, valid first aid certificate and at least a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
Be slightly tech savvy to be able to pick up the till, epos, delivery and inhouse software we use to manage things
Enjoy Thai and/or Asian Cuisine
Good business acumen
Some Kitchen experience in order to help maintain quality
