🚀 Procurement Assistant Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Contracts

💰 Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Based on experience)

We’re looking for a Procurement Assistant Manager to join a dynamic organisation and play a key role in managing sourcing processes, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations. If you have a strong background in procurement and want to make a tangible impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This role is 12 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Leading procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
✔ Managing sourcing processes, tenders, and contracts up to £25 million.
✔ Negotiating commercial and contractual terms to drive positive outcomes.
✔ Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to optimise procurement performance.
✔ Monitoring supplier performance against SLAs and driving continuous improvements.
✔ Advising stakeholders on procurement best practices and legal compliance.
✔ Implementing innovative approaches to enhance procurement efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract management.
🔹 Strong knowledge of public sector procurement law and category management.
🔹 Ability to negotiate and manage high-value contracts effectively.
🔹 Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
🔹 MCIPS qualification (or working towards it) is a plus.
