Our in-vitro Diagnostic Assay manufacturing site in Dundee has an exciting opportunity for a Product Support Investigator to join the team.
The Product Support Investigator works as part of the Product Support Team and is primarily responsible for logging, assessing the reportability of end user complaints, and subsequent investigation.
Main accountabilities
* Log, acknowledge, and assess all alleged product deficiencies received from end users for adverse event reportability to timelines specified by site procedures.
* Investigate, establish, and report cause.
* Log and acknowledge Supplier Corrective Actions (SCARS) received, taking full accountability for personal workload, ensuring work is completed to a high standard in accordance with site policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
* Run IVD tests.
* Employ state-of-the-art Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools, including A3/DMAIC.
* Contribute to and perform Risk Assessments, Risk Management/Control exercises, and Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA).
The preferred profile
* Degree in Biological Sciences.
* Working experience in an IVD manufacturing environment is preferable.
* A practical understanding of complaint logging and investigation of IVD Product Deficiencies per ISO.
* Experience with ERP / EDMS / CAPA systems preferable.
* Building relationships with the team and the wider operations group.
* Ability to follow set processes to ensure the right outcome.
* Basic skill in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
