The Role You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on laboratory and manufacturing environments and equipment, working closely with the Senior Group Lead – Quality. In this role, you will collaborate with R&D teams to report contamination events and process deviations and gain broad experience with the Quality system. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include Conducting environmental monitoring in labs and manufacturing areas, such as settle plate and contact plate testing, water microbial testing, and autoclave monitoring. Cell bank QC assays, including mycoplasma and endotoxin testing, Write reports, and author-controlled documents like SOPs under guidance. Assist with investigating contamination events, Contribute to corrective actions, and Actively participate in team meetings, presenting findings as needed. Experience Required You should be eager to learn and interested in building a career in Quality. With training, you will independently plan and conduct testing of labs, manufacturing environments, and equipment. Essential Experience: At least 12 months in a quality role, ideally in the food industry. BSc in a life sciences-related field. Knowledge of microbiology, food safety standards, and quality management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft applications. Experience writing reports and controlled documents. Strong attention to detail. Good aseptic techniques. Desirable Experience: PCR, RT-qPCR, or chromogenic endotoxin testing. HPLC testing. Working to GMP/GLP standards. Assay development.
