Job Description:
Idex have partnered with a well known firm, who are looking for two ambitious IFA's who will support their exciting growth strategy.
The firm offers independent financial planning and investment management services to clients throughout the UK and pride themselves on being true advocates of personal, face-to-face advice, provided by highly qualified, competent, and experienced professionals. The firm is Chartered and currently has approximately £75m under management.
This is an exciting time to join this business, which has a great working culture and advocates for progression in line with business requirements. To ensure the business stays at the leading edge, they continually encourage and challenge their team to advance themselves professionally, with every member of staff empowered to expand their knowledge, skills, and qualifications to advance in the business and excel in the industry. They are an extremely strong brand, and they are looking for like-minded individuals to develop an established client bank.
As a Financial Planner at this prestigious Practice, and ambassador for the wider firm, it is your role to ensure that, together with the team, you provide a high standard of technical service to clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with client requirements.
Actively promote yourself and the business as experts in the marketplace, assisting with the marketing strategy as required, creating and obtaining referrals for work, and successfully concluding negotiations.
You will have responsibility for assisting the development of the team, and potentially supervising your planning colleagues, together with a responsibility for the future growth of the firm.
You will be effective in the introduction of our services to our clients both internally, your own business network, and to the wider market.
Actively manage and control the delivery of all aspects of assignments, including engagement terms, client liaison between departments of the firm, and presentation of work to clients.
Know your clients and be able to recognise significant issues in their circumstances or operations and consider the best possible recommendations for their solution.
Develop expertise and undertake complex technical research, with the ability to present concisely in person or in written form, having due regard for risk.
Identify and raise where the firm is potentially exposed to risk, look for efficiencies, improve procedures, propose recommendations and solutions, and take a leading role in the implementation of change.
