* Maintain, repair, and monitor machinery to maximize production output, including gearboxes, drives, pneumatic controls, motors, and more.
* Regularly inspect and test safety devices (e.g., fire alarms, smoke detectors, emergency exits) to ensure they are functional and up to standard.
* Take quick action to resolve production machine issues, minimizing downtime and production delays.
* Plan and undertake preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
* Monitor external contractors when necessary, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and work standards.
* Keep a well-organized workshop and maintain cleanliness standards to minimize contamination risk.
* Follow and enforce Health & Safety (H&S) guidelines and carry out necessary quality checks in line with BRC requirements.
* Provide out-of-hours call-out coverage and breakdown support on a rotational basis, including weekends once fully trained.
