Assistant To Directors of Programmes
Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant To Directors of Programmes to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. The role will be worked on from office.You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary £22,525 to £30,475

As Assistant To Directors of Programmes, the successful candidate will play an integral role in To provide administrative support to the Director and Associate Director( further called Directors) of Programme (DoP) as delegated, through management ofboth DoP diary, communications, travel and accommodations booking, as well as assisting with scheduling the DoP’S meetings and minute-taking, in order to ensure the DoP’s workload and activities are managed effectively, thus contributing on a wider scale to the success and smooth operational running of organisation.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Assistant to Directors of Programmes :
7. Coordinate directors’ workloads, activities, and diary, managing priorities and ensuring there are no clashes
8. Organise all travel, including accommodation and logistical arrangements for directors in a timely manner and within a predefined budget
9. Provide an effective administerial service to the Directors (incl. minute taking, follow up of actions)
10. Make self-available to provide wider administrative and diary management support to Directors
11. Swift response time on emails, requests, meetings
12. Assist with planning, implementation and evaluations of programmes / projects and coordinate with other team members to ensure that deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality
13. Assist in facilitating communication and collaboration to advance programmes goals and objectives'.
14. Follow up with members of the Programmes department and other HA departments to ensure progress of tasks delegated by the directors
15. Report back to directors about progress regularly
What we’re looking for in our Assistant to Directors of Programmes :
16. Degree-educated (such as Social Sciences, or International Development) Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) educated
17. Previous administration experience for at least 1 year
18. Understanding and passion for the International Development sector
19. Computer literate, proficient in MS Office Suite
20. Must be fluent in English and Arabic language.
21. Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector
