Job Description Teaching Assistant First For Education are currently recruiting for an teaching assistant for a school located in Kingswinford. This is an interim cover for 1 term and is full time, 5 days a week. Academic success is extremely important, but so too is preparing young people for a rapidly changing society and to become responsible, caring, tolerant individuals with a love for life and a belief that they should exceed their aspirations and goals. The school have high expectations of student behaviour and attainment, never settling for second best. * A clear passion for teaching, assisting, and helping children learn.
* Excellent punctuality and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service ideal (if not you will need to have a new check completed).
* The confidence to work with secondary aged children in a classroom.
* The ability to manage groups of children and cope with challenging behaviour.
* The ability to build good relationships with children, teachers, parents, and carers.
* The ability to work as part of a team.
* Good reading, writing and numeracy skills.
* Good IT skills.
* A passion for educating children.
* Eagerness to grow and develop as a teacher.
* The minimum requirement is a to be degree or cache Level 3 qualified.
