INSTALLATION ELECTRICIAN
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client, established in 1982, has a reputation for delivering dynamic, reliable, and professional M & E services to the commercial and industrial sectors across the South of England.
With 40 years of knowledge and experience, the company is expanding and seeking an experienced Installation Electrician for large commercial contracts on a 2000+ acre estate in Andover.
The contract is at the 2nd fix stage, and we are looking for a team of Installation Electricians who can perform testing and inspection, starting on 24th February.

JOB PURPOSE
Utilize a working knowledge of electrical systems to conduct maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics on existing systems. Install new electrical systems, including lighting and heating, to customer standards while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.
JOB SPECIFICATION
1. Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems in both domestic and commercial environments.
2. Ensure electrical systems adhere to national electrical safety standards and regulations.
3. Use plans, wiring schematics, and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete projects.
4. Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, testing, and monitoring.
5. Assess and order the parts required for a job, completing work orders and recording materials used.
6. Identify electrical problems and repair them, escalating issues as required.
7. Ensure good quality workmanship that upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
1. City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent electrical qualifications (236 or 2357).
2. Hold a JIB / ECS Gold Card.
3. Working knowledge of IEE Regulations, ideally 18th Edition.
4. AM2.
5. City and Guilds Inspection and Testing Certificate (2391) is desirable.
6. A team player with good interpersonal and written communication skills.
7. Good organizational and time management skills to deliver work to required specifications and timelines.
8. Available and interested in overtime to complete the works on time.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary: GBP 26 Per Hour
Overtime available, Saturday & Sunday at double time.
Site times: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
6 month contracts.
