As one of our Business Change Managers, you will support our Senior Business Change Managers and work in partnership with the wider team.
In these roles you will champion a business and people focused change management and business improvement approach across the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). You will support both business as usual initiatives and project-based change and improvement activities.
You will apply the principles of the DVSA change and improvement strategy to understand what the change / improvement means to the business and our people. You will implement and manage a range of change and improvement interventions in support of achieving business objectives and creating a change and improvement culture.
You will empower and equip our people to support the implementation of changes and improvements, enhance how the business and our people receive the change / improvement and engage colleagues in the associated activities.
These roles provide the opportunity to work in partnership with the wider business and provide leadership and professional expertise to support business change and improvement activities across the Agency.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
* Being a primary source of change expertise in the business, working closely with impacted staff and stakeholders to ensure change is successfully managed for business changes.
* Implementing the change management and service offering, focusing on wider impacts, Stakeholder mapping, Benefits management, Impact assessment, Transition and Implementation planning.
* Collaborating with managers across all functions for the good of DVSA and creating a high performing and well-respected Agency.
* Collaborating with colleagues in your team and across the People Directorate, to bring the Directorate’s strategy, operating model and vision to life and delivering business objectives.
* Analysing a range of qualitative and quantitative information to provide evidence-based insight to help the organisation make informed decisions, addressing business problems, and adding value to the organisation.
* Putting theory into practice, providing effective advice that meets business need, applying legislation, policy, or best practice, and developing a balanced approach to risk.
