Role: Sports Coach Location: Somerset - Travel Required Across Multiple Sites Contract: Full time or Part Time Salary: £16 - £18 per hour We are working in partnership with a well-regarded group of inclusive schools in Somerset to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Sports Coach to support the delivery of PE, sport and physical wellbeing across the trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sport, coaching and inspiring young people to be active, confident and engaged. The successful candidate will work across several schools, delivering structured PE sessions, leading lunchtime and after-school clubs and contributing to the broader enrichment and wellbeing programmes. The Role: As a Sports Coach, you will: Deliver a range of PE and sports-based activities tailored to the needs of children and young people Lead small group sessions and extracurricular clubs during lunchtimes and after school Support the planning and delivery of inclusive, sequenced PE lessons Serve as a positive role model and mentor, prompting teamwork, resilience and healthy living Travel between sites as part of a coordinated approach delivering PE across the trust Key Requirements: Level 2 Qualification in Sports Coaching or equivalent Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel between sites required) Confidence in leading sessions and engaging pupils of varying abilities and needs A collaborative mindset ability to work closely with teaching staff and other practitioners A flexible approach to working hours, including some during the school holidays (term time plus inset days and 4 weeks) What’s In It For You?
