About the Role
The Quality, Safety and Environment Engineer provides specific knowledge to the Site, focusing primarily on quality but with the ability to work across safety and environment. We are looking for a passionate engineer to join our organisation.
Reporting to the Quality & Environment Manager and working as part of a small team, you will collaborate with our operational and engineering teams and the wider Essity community.

What You Will Do
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with corporate and legislative requirements across all quality, safety, and environment matters.
* ISO Standards: Lead internal audits and support the integration of the management systems.
* Resolve Quality & Environmental Non-Conformities: Address and resolve non-conformities and support continuous improvement.
* Identify Safety, Quality and Environmental Trends: Recognize emerging trends from internal and external data analysis and ensure the Site is prepared to address them effectively.
* Testing and Reporting: Be responsible for quality and environmental testing and reporting, including equipment calibrations and waste documentation.
* Chemical Management: Continuously improve chemical management systems on site.
* Training and Skill Transfer: Train the Site organization and support the transfer of safety, environmental and quality skills.
Who You Are
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate the following essential skills and knowledge:
* A role model for safety, quality and environment, promoting safety standards within the organization.
* A detail-focused approach with strong organisational and planning skills.
* Previous experience in a similar industry (FMCG) operating at a similar level.
* Proven data analysis skills combined with strong presentation skills.
* An understanding of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
* Internal Auditing knowledge and experience with relevant qualifications.
* Effective communication and influencing skills with the ability to coach, constructively challenge and influence others.
* Experience managing environmental permits (desirable).
* The ability to react quickly and calmly under pressure.
