Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team as a Band 5 Deputy Management Accountant.

The Deputy Management Accountant will play a key role in the Management Accounting Team, supporting the provision of timely, relevant, and accurate financial information to clinical and non-clinical services.
The successful candidate will be CCAB certificate level or AAT qualified, or possess equivalent experience in a busy finance office environment, preferably within the NHS. Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a commitment to excellent service delivery, are essential. This role involves supporting monthly processes, the production of annual accounts, and the annual planning process.
You must be capable of working to tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and consistency. The role requires prioritising workload, demonstrating initiative, and working independently as well as part of the wider team. Responsibilities include managing various budget areas, providing financial monitoring information, advising budget holders, and supervising junior staff on a rotational basis.
