A primary school in Fleetwood (FY7) are recruiting for an Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will work with a child with severe ADHD and SEMH on a 1:1 basis. The child requires a Teaching Assistant who will support them full time and will aid their learning in all areas. The ideal candidate will have an energetic nature, will be pro active in supporting learning and will have an optimistic working attitude.
This ‘GOOD’ primary school has a vibrant ethos and aims to ‘create and maintain a safe learning environment for staff and students like’. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with children and will have supported children with special educational needs, specifically ADHD and SEMH. The post is full time and will start in January 2025 or sooner dependant on the availability of the successful applicant.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with ADHD or SEMH
- Have worked in a KS2 primary setting
- Have experience supporting children on EHCP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
