Job overview
The post-holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in the planning, organisation and evaluation of Clinical and Non-Clinical Apprenticeships at NSFT to support delivery of high quality, safe and effective care. The post holder will be required to have excellent problem-solving skills, paying attention to detail, and work innovatively. Using initiative and discretion when necessary, the post holder will need to be able to work with minimum supervision and complete multiple tasks within deadlines and time frames.
Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills are essential to the success of this role. This post requires experience in Apprenticeship and/or Education environment in a large organisation.
Main duties of the job
Specific tasks include:
* Support Apprenticeship functions, such as delivering Information, Guidance and information to staff and managers
* Monitoring progress and compliance utilising a range of systems to record, report and support staff on programme
* Liaise with identified operational leads to obtain updates.
* Support development of system to collate and store evidence of progress made against agreed actions and keep up to date.
* Keep up to date relevant dashboards as required

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Plan, manage and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Trust’s apprenticeship activities across all Localities within the Trust.
* Delivering Information, Advice and Guidance to staff and managers
* Pastoral support to apprentices on programme
* Liaising with managers
* Working and negotiating with external partners/training providers
Supervising administrative team members as required.
Maintain good level of knowledge of various IT and communication systems relevant for role (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Oracle, ESR). Utilising this knowledge for themselves but also to train others as required.
To support staff as required dealing with difficult situations/circumstances and to be designated to provide emotional support to front line staff during training.
Communicate complex scheduling information to internal and external stakeholders.
