The Marketing Manager role will lead and deliver the growth targets for core Quaker porridge business, including portfolio management, renovation and innovation. The role will also lead commercial strategy development from the marketing side, and work closely with Insights to deliver the most relevant and compelling portfolio, sales to build compelling plans in store, and NRM teams to maximise effectiveness of the portfolio. This role reports to the head of marketing for Quaker and will have a team of 2 direct reports.
Responsibilities
* In partnership with Quaker Head of Marketing, Pepsico CMO and Quaker GM, sets the strategy and 3-5 Year plans for Quaker.
* Lead the management of the Quaker portfolio for the UK, including calendar planning, all renovation and flavour development, close-in innovation, in store activation and packaging development.
* Work End to End to deliver strategy.
* Be a key contact for Commercial and Sales teams, and lead sales team engagement plan.
* Lead team to develop strong brand tracking plans, and consumer benchmarking.
* Partnering with the team, play a key role in developing the innovation pipeline.
* Lead the establishment, partnering with Insights team, of relevant action plan for the brand.
* Lead and coach the team to deliver strong Execution and Activation plans to ensure delivery of the in-year commercial plan.
Qualifications
* In depth brand marketing experience gained in consumer business, preferably within FMCG / CPG.
* Strong functional Marketing experience managing complex portfolio.
* Strong project management skills, evidenced through key X-functional projects.
* Strong capability in understanding consumer insight & generating ideas.
* Experience in developing strong partnerships with multiple stakeholders frequently with competing priorities.
* Experience in developing and launching successful innovations.
