Role: Backend Software Engineer

What you’ll be doing?
* Working in agile teams in squads, to deliver innovation from our product roadmaps
* Collaborating with the rest of the delivery team to drive down technical debt and bug backlogs
* Contributing to ensuring other team members can build high-quality, test-driven code that meets the highest standards of good software engineering
Who are we looking for?
* Extensive experience working commercially with C#, .NET Core and/or SQL gained in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
* Commercial experience using C#, .NET Core, SQL and Test Driven-Development and of developing Microservices or Azure Functions
* Commercial knowledge/experience of developing for BigCommerce or a comparable platform
* Excellent attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
* Professional with a keen attitude to learn, able to pick up new skills quickly and hit the ground running
* Strives to understand the needs of our patients and building software solutions that deliver impact
* Experience with most of the technologies in our stack, and willing to learn others
* Has worked in an Agile environment
