Job Description:
Our client is a renowned print & packaging company which provides a wide range of solutions. They manufacture printed packaging products to an array of household brands within the food & drinks; confectionery; media; cosmetics; and household industries.
They are looking to fill the role of Information Security Manager. As the Information Security Manager, you will manage the security governance, the risk, and the compliance programme within all domains from vulnerability management.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement security standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
2. Handle security incidents as and when they arise, ensuring the response is robust and thorough and underlying issues are addressed so that the security posture of the group becomes increasingly resilient over time.
3. Develop best-in-class security programmes and policies that are flexible enough to protect the company and its customers.
4. Monitor and assess ongoing threats and ensure the group is well-positioned to meet them.
5. Work on an ongoing basis with senior management and other stakeholders, keeping them fully informed and giving them all information needed to make good judgements about security-related matters.
6. Understand and interact with related disciplines to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services.
7. Provide the leadership and management of supplier and third party compliance audits.
8. Develop and enhance an information security management framework.
9. Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns.
10. Ensure that IT security is implemented, maintained, and tested, for the perimeter and back office systems.
11. Proven and substantial experience of information security.
12. Significant experience of successfully leading and managing a diverse team.
13. Proven experience in the implementation of ISO27001.
14. Information security incident management.
15. HNC, or HND in an IT or relevant training & experience.
16. CISSP Certified.
