We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Band 7 Physiotherapist to lead and deliver high-quality service within our new state-of-the-art Orthopaedic Centre. As the Team Lead, you'll be at the forefront of shaping high-quality, compassionate healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity to drive excellence, lead a team and enhance patient experiences in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Main Duties of the Job
* Work with orthopaedic consultants from across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
* Work within a dynamic MDT
* Work in a fast-paced environment
* Lead and participate in the delivery of a 7-day therapy service, providing a high standard of advanced clinical assessment, treatment and advice to patients.
* Provide clinical leadership to a team of therapists.
* Be a mentor and role model, inspiring and supporting clinical staff while managing the development of therapy staff and other non-clinical staff and students.
* Create a positive patient journey; be part of a team that influences the patient journey, from pre-operative assessment to inpatient care, and follow-up clinics post joint replacement.
* Work with the clinical matron to support patients and relatives in the speedy and satisfactory resolution of queries and complaints about the service.
* Ensure systems are in place to continuously monitor, review and reset clinical standards of care. Ensure clinical practice is research-based and in line with nationally recognized "best practice".

Salary and Contract
Band: Band 7
Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year
Contract: Permanent

Essential
* Degree/Diploma in relevant profession
* HCPC registration
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development including reflective practice, in-service training and courses attended.
Desirable
* Recognised post-graduate qualifications e.g. MSc or equivalent experience
* Member of relevant professional body, CSP
Experience

* Broad range of experience including orthopaedics at band 6 level
* Knowledge and experience of a wide range of approaches to patient management, demonstrated by advanced clinical reasoning
* Experience of staff supervision and mentorship including employee relations, performance, conduct and training needs
* Evidence of implementing change to promote good practice

* Experience of service development
