The Team
This Construction and Engineering team is widely recognised for its expertise in advising on high-value infrastructure and development projects. They regularly work across diverse sectors, including renewable energy, transport, and real estate, offering pragmatic and tailored advice on large-scale and complex matters.

The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in advising on landmark projects in the UK and internationally, working across sectors such as energy, transport, and infrastructure. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead on challenging matters, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the firm’s ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing legal and commercial advice on significant construction and redevelopment projects
* Drafting and negotiating complex contracts, including standard forms such as NEC3 and bespoke agreements
* Supporting clients on procurement strategies, risk management, and dispute avoidance
* Leading teams and mentoring junior associates to enhance their skills and expertise
* Building strong relationships with clients and playing an active role in business development efforts
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ PQE in construction or projects law, with a proven track record in managing complex transactions. The successful applicant should demonstrate:
* Significant experience in large-scale construction and infrastructure matters
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
* Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* A proactive and commercially minded approach to client service
* Experience in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
* A commitment to delivering innovative, practical solutions to clients
Candidates MUST be qualified solicitors, ideally qualified in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
