Our huge warehouse estate in Yorkshire is held together by the Warehouse team, the warehouses have an enormous amount of tech that allow us to receive, store, pick and pack items for our customers - handling everything from socks to sofas! The Warehouse team focuses heavily on automation which includes 40 miles of conveyor linking everything together across our sites, hundreds of storage and picking robots - a very fast moving, continuously changing part of NEXT Technology.
The role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Manual QA Test Analyst to join our team in the Warehouse Systems Technology department for a 12 month FTC.
You’ll work closely with the functional team, development teams and key business users to keep everyone up to date and head off any issues that might be on the horizon.
In addition, you’ll also create and enhance our in-house technologies. This will involve a range of tech, such as:
1. SQL for database interrogation
2. API and cross browser testing
3. Azure DevOps, ADO, Leapwork, Selenium, Browserstack

* Natural problem solver with a logical approach to testing software and implementing processes.
* Organised professional with the knowledge to plan for the future – providing key inputs that allow us to develop plans and schedules for tomorrow’s retail environment.
* Bold challenger with a passion for delivering smarter ways of working and for automating the everyday.
In addition, we’re looking for you to be:
* Able to speak, read and write English at a level that enables you to complete your role, for example, to understand instructions and communicate effectively with stakeholders and/or other team members
* Experienced in effectively working in a collaborative manner in a large scale, fast paced environment within a multifunctional technical team
You’ll be doing all this from our South Elmsall site on a hybrid basis.
