Social Worker Level 1, 2 & 3 Location: South West of England Salary: Competitive Contract: Permanent Myn is recruiting for our long-term client in the South West of England. We are looking for dedicated Social Workers at entry level (ASYE), Level 2, and Level 3 (Experienced Social Worker) to deliver essential statutory services that protect and support children, young people, and families. Your Role Carry out statutory assessments under the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation. Develop effective care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Work with families to support positive changes, helping parents become more self-reliant. Prepare and present reports for court and professional meetings. Participate in strategy discussions and Section 47 enquiries. Work closely with partner agencies, including schools, health professionals, and domestic abuse specialists. Maintain accurate case records and use digital systems effectively. At Level 3 (Experienced Social Worker), you will also mentor newly qualified social workers (ASYE) and work towards the Practice Educator Award. What Were Looking For Essential Qualifications: Degree in Social Work (Dip HE/Degree/Post Grad). Registered with Social Work England. Enhanced DBS clearance. Experience (Varies by Level): Entry-Level (ASYE/Level 1): Some experience in child safeguarding and assessments. Level 2: Experience working with Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases. Level 3: Significant experience in complex assessments, care planning, and court proceedings. Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding legislation, and evidence-based practice. Ability to conduct high-quality assessments and develop outcome-focused plans. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism. Willingness to work flexibly to meet service demands. Driving licence and access to a car (travel across the county required).
