Our client, a well-established RCVS accredited multi-site practice in Gloucestershire, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to become part of their friendly and supportive team. With 25 years of experience providing exceptional care to animals and their owners, the practice has built a stellar reputation. With cutting-edge facilities, the practice is well-equipped for both first opinion and referral-level cases. Their extensive range of diagnostic and surgical equipment includes superior image quality ultrasound with abdominal and cardiac probes, flexible and rigid endoscopy, bronchoscopy, dental X-ray, a sterile surgical theatre, separate dog and cat wards, dedicated imaging rooms, and a fully equipped in-house lab. They are also proud holders of ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic accreditations, with silver status at two locations and bronze at a third.
The practice values work-life balance, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. The standard rota involves a four-day workweek (9 am-7 pm, with appointments until 6:30 pm) and a maximum of one Saturday in four. There are no night shifts or out-of-hours duties, ensuring you have time for yourself. Daily schedules include dedicated admin time and regular breaks for tea and lunch.
