Salary and Benefits: £60-70k (Head of), £70k-85k (Director) depending on experience, plus discretionary annual bonus, 35 days leave per annum (inclusive of bank holidays) and a 6% employer pension contribution.

The Role
Future Advocacy is hiring for a creative Head of Digital Campaigns or Director of Digital Campaigns to play a big role in our growing team. We are looking for a creative and bold digital nativist who is skilled at using disruptive and innovative tactics to drive political change, especially in the context of rising populist narratives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, and contribute to, some very exciting and impactful projects.
It is an exciting time to join the organisation. The Digital Campaigns Head/Director will play a key role in a major new project supported by the Gates Foundation to create a Strategic Communications and Advocacy Lab (SCAL) in the UK, Germany, EU and France. The goal of SCAL is to shift the dominant political narratives around international “aid” and create political space for more government action in this area. You will work closely with the Founder/CEO; the Director of Advocacy and Communications in London; and the Director of our EU Office in Brussels, as part of our small, happy, and dynamic team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Designing, delivering and evaluating digital communication strategies and activations in our key markets
* Designing, delivering and evaluating creative campaigns online
* Overseeing our social listening, gathering insights to inform online campaign strategy
* Driving content generation strategy and delivery for our clients and Future Advocacy’s own channels
* Developing tactics to counter the tactics of populist nativists seeking to undermine social justice and equality
* Overseeing the maintenance and development of Future Advocacy’s digital channels
* Expanding our digital communication offer to clients
* Contributing to business development
* Leading and contributing to client projects
* Developing materials and delivering training
* Other tasks as required
Skills and Experience
You will have all, or very nearly all, of the following:
* A confident and creative digital native who has a strong track record in using a range of innovative tactics to disrupt and drive political change
* A strong track record in designing and delivering impactful digital and communication strategies to disrupt narratives and drive change
* A strong track record of designing and delivering creative campaigns (including online)
* A strong understanding of making effective use of digital channels to disrupt narratives and drive change
* A strong track record of designing and running advertising campaigns to disrupt narratives and drive change
* A strong track record in gathering insights from social listening platforms to inform campaign strategies
* A strong understanding of the third sector (NGOs, Think Tanks, Foundations etc) and a strong third-sector network
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enthusiasm, flexibility, and ability to manage competing priorities
* The entrepreneurial drive to develop our digital communications offer for clients
* Experience in hiring and managing agencies and sub-contractors
* Design skills and/or a good design eye would be an asset
